| 2011 | Our ballroom Gottfried Keller has been renovated by our project partner Habegger AG in February, 2011. We offer an exceedingly modern background for conferences and events for up to 500 persons thanks to our state-of-the-art technology and individual illumination possibilities. WiFi Internet is available in all 365 guest rooms and public areas. |

| 2010 | The 124 rooms in our garden wing have been successfully renovated from June until December, 2010. The modern and elegant rooms provide our guests with additional comforts. | 2009 | As one of the first hotels in Zurich, we offer complimentary High-Speed Internet in every guest room as well as in the conference rooms. | ||||
| 2008 | In May 2008, we were able to celebrate the renovation of 240 Superior Rooms in the south wing of the hotel. The hotel rooms were designed by star architect Tony Chi and radiate warm earth tones. We are already looking forward to future investments in the restaurant area, which will further strengthen our position as a four-star conference hotel in Zurich. | ||||
| 2007 | Because of the repositioning of the InterContinental hotel brand in January 2007, it was decided that the hotel would continue under the Crowne Plaza brand. This change has meant that we can position ourselves even better in the market place and offer our guests a first-class conference hotel. | ||||
| 2005 | The next big investment followed: the renovation of the hotel swimming pool, including the whirlpool. | ||||
| 2003 | Redesigning of the lobby in the autumn of this year. The bright colours and elegant marble floor create a welcoming atmosphere. | ||||
| 1996 | After many successful years, this year the brand changed and the Nova Park Conference Hotel became the InterContinental Zurich, belonging to the chain of the same name. Since then, our present manager, Mr Stephan Kistler, has been the hotel's host. | ||||
| 1972 | The Nova Park Hotel opened on 14 July as the biggest hotel in Zurich and the third-biggest in Switzerland. The goal of Nova Park Group Founder and Managing Director René E. Hatt was to create a meeting place for both the local population and for out-of-town guests. His integrated hotel concept was intended to help to involve hotel guests in the commercial, social, cultural and entertainment life of the metropolis. The wide range of club activities designed to meet the demands of a sophisticated clientele, along with entertainment and catering services for the local guest, recreated the old village square under a new guise. | ||||
