Nova Art Collection

We are delighted to continue the tradition of the architect of the former Nova Park Hotel by including art and culture in the rooms. Zurich, which enjoys a worldwide reputation for modern art and design, is above all a centre for concrete and constructive art. Emphasis has therefore been placed on this type of art. Many of the works acquired became a firm fixture in the hotel.
Although the main emphasis of the collection is predominantly on non-objective, geometric art, the artists Hans Falk and Emilio Stanzani must be mentioned. Falk's red or blue triad, Nova Nite, was conceived for the former nightclub. It hangs in the red version by the bar. The sculpture and three reliefs of Emilio Stanzani are in the "Gallery" and in the foyer. The hotel management has made it its business to bring the works to recognition again in the public rooms and to make them accessible to public interest (Franz Kohlbrenner, 1997).
